Welcome to the Online Community Consultation for Larne Football Club. This Consultation relates to a proposal to redevelop the player, visitor and community facilities at Inver Park, Larne.

We are consulting with the local community to obtain initial views on the proposed development and hope this will help inform the design process prior to the submission of the planning application later this year.

About the Proposal

Site Location

The proposal relates to the lands at Inver Park, Inver Road, Larne.

Site Description

The site comprises the existing main stand, social club, offices, carpark and other ancillary buildings within the southern half of Inver Park Stadium as illustrated in the aerial image of the site.

Part of this site was previously granted planning permission to replace this stand and also develop other facilities; this proposal now seeks to consolidate and update these previous planning permissions and enhance the facilities at Inver Park to bring it in line with the Clubs current requirements.

What’s Proposed

Larne Football Club are proposing to redevelop the current Stadium with a replacement stand to upgrade the existing facilities to provide a new south stand, which will provide a new Player & Administration hub for LFC, a Visitor Hub and a Community Hub. This will include;

1. New Covered Terrace Stand
2. New Changing Facilities
3. Classroom/Training Rooms
4. Media Rooms
5. Gym
6. Multi-Functional Community Spaces
7. Club Shop
8. Clubs Offices and Boardroom; and
9. Associated Site Works.

What Happens Next

At the end of this Consultation period the applicant, Larne Football Club, intends to submit this planning application to Mid and East Antrim Council.  In the meantime we are keen to hear the views of the local community and are carrying out this Consultation to help inform the design process prior to submission of the planning application later this year.
